The Philly cheesesteak was one of the best I’ve had in the area and wasn’t super greasy like most are, and the chicken quesadilla was HEFTY and tasted amazing. Little details like when to pour wines and serve courses within the choreography of our speeches just really put things over the top. We were greeted with an exceptionally gusty day on the mountaintop this year, and Dale was quick on his feet to bring in cocktail tails and repurpose them inside the venue. Now, the food!! The Catering Outfit truly outdid themselves. The menu was carefully designed for every guest to enjoy themselves regardless of dietary restrictions. I could have indulged in a few more plates of the crab cakes and steak... But I had some self-restraint fortunately. Presentation and server choreography were impeccable, and the quality of the food was exceptional. I can’t stop emphasizing the choreography because our event has gone over its planned time multiple years in its 25 year history — but we ended right on time, thanks to their professionalism and diligence. I would wholeheartedly recommend The Catering Outfit to anyone who needs catering services of the highest caliber possible in Central Virginia. Their support for our LGBTQ event, their outstanding professionalism, and their careful attention to detail makes them an invaluable partner in creating memorable, inclusive, and joyful experiences. “10/10 absolutely recommendThis was one of the best buffet experiences I've had ever. The food was amazing, hot, flavorful, and fresh. Our waiter kept the drinks full constantly and made sure we were taken care of. The only thing I would say wasn't top tier was the amount of people there were in the buffet. But that's just the introvert in me.“

“$33.50 for 2 sandwiches, 2 sides, and 2 drinks before gratuity. I had the Oliver and my husband had Angus Yum. They tasted fresh and were tasty. Seating is very limited. Most of their business seems to be take away. There was a steady stream of people collecting their sandwiches at the counter. We will probably go again but not very soon. We have favorite places we like more.“
“Red Hub was absolutely delicious! We had pulled pork and roast chicken (which were great) but the real hit was the mashed potatoes, which were incredible. We liked the variety in the menu and their partnership with Farm Bell gave us a lot of options (everything we tried was delicious, even the things that didn’t make our menu). We also used them for bartending and were very happy with the service they provided, even with complicated signature drinks.“
