Beautiful winery. Plenty of indoor and outdoor sitting space. Delicious wine. Friendly staff. You can walk into the wine cellar. Restaurant on site. Also the Governor Barbour ruins are on the site.
Had time for a brief stop, but I was warmly greeted and assisted by Jessica who helped me find just the right Merlot. I also enjoyed shopping there, too Barboursville is always a delightful stop on any trip.
Stunning property and fantastic staff, we learned so much from our tasting and shared a delicious charcuterie between 4 ladies and 4 dogs ( they didn't have charcuterie though sorry) a view with the ruins in the back was 10/10! Definitely will be back here.
