Such a beautiful backdrop for a wedding! The staff is welcoming and accommodating as well! As a photographer, I LOVE the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains for photos and this spot is one of my favorite places to capture that!
We had a super nice waitress Brandie very friendly and efficient . See y’all next year !
We are on our first of two nights. Huge disappointment with the restaurant at dinner. Apparently they lost a lot of their staff recently which caused an incredible wait. The skeleton crew did thier best. For around $350 a night. "sigh". Very unfortunate. I hope they sort the lack of staff situation that during the peak season here.

Peaks of Otter Lake View Restaurant offers a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, making it perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation. The restaurant is situated in a stunning setting with nearby walking trails and camping facilities. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views, especially of Abbott Lake and Sharp Top Mountain. The dining area has a warm rustic charm that complements the mountain environment. Visitors can enjoy both dinner and lunch, with service that is friendly and attentive, thanks to staff like Doris and Amy. The dinner menu features dishes like the ribeye steak dinner, which has received high praise for being delicious and flavorful. The short ribs are also highly recommended, tender and paired well with creamy mashed potatoes and au jus sauce. Breakfast offerings include a buffet where some guests found the oatmeal should be real instead of Quaker packets and the muffins and danishes would be better if homemade. While the food and service have had mixed reviews in the past, recent visits have shown improvements, with guests enjoying the atmosphere and scenic views. The restaurant and grounds are considered worth the trip in any season, especially for those who appreciate the combination of nature and dining.
