“I used Harvest Host to find this location after Hurricane Helene shut everything in western VA and NC down for the foreseeable future.
The owners and employees at the winery were friendly and I got to hear the history of the orchard and winery first hand from the owners. The winery is nestled in the valley with the Peaks of Otter mountain ridge as the scenery.
It's a great place to stop and relax for a bit as you take in the sights and atmosphere at this serene location.
Food and drinks: The winery sells many selections of food and wine, vinegar, and cider made from apples grown on the property.
