Seems to not know what it wants to be. Walk past the pool table to your table. Excellent wait staff, sets high expectation. Food quality not as expected. Duck skin not crispy, chips with artichoke dip tasteless, wine disappointing.

This may have been one of the most disappointing experiences I have ever had. After seeing the online presence and reviews, in addition to looking at the menu online, all seemed to be set up for us to have an enjoyable experience and maybe even find a new go to when in Blacksburg. When we walked in I knew right away we had made a mistake and we almost turned around, I wish we had. I could have looked over the majority of what I saw as red flags but the most disappointing part was the fact that the place just opened up at 5 for dinner and we were one of the first to sit down. There is no way that the Brussels sprouts and mash potatoes had been made in the last hour much less 4 hours. The meatloaf was a 5 out of 10 at best but the rest of the plate was not even close to something I could manage to eat without gagging (cold, dry and just old in general). I could go on but will leave it at that.

I tried filet mignon. It was delicious, but considering the price, it felt a bit disappointing. I heard from an acquaintance that duck breast is delicious, so I'll have to try that next time.

Went to Easter brunch with wife. She had requested a closer table due to less walking for disabled person with cane. Which hostess replied after seating in furthest section of the restaurant with "I'm sorry" with no further assistance.I'd ordered French Toast with bacon and it wasn't even cooked thru. Still wet and runny. Id requested another, to which still came back same way minus, bacon.Wife's breakfast potatoes were like croutons instead of soft, hard..For the prices of entrees and restaurant with reservations, you figure that the chef would know how to cook items served.Bad experience. Will not return..

Amazing restaurant! I had my first date with my girlfriend here, and it was a really good choice. The food is exceptional, and the service is awesome! I highly recommend the filet mignon, but I also recommend the special I had my last visit (hot Italian sandwich with beef) if it's available.

We had dinner here the weekend of the college game day game versus North Carolina. On a recommendation. My daughter had actually dined here before and said it was very good. We think that we caught our server on a bad night or something. We ordered $100 bottle of And were charged for a different bottle of wine. We also ordered a cheese and charcuterie plate. That was excellent, a cheeseburger that was very good and my wife and I shared a chicken Cordon Bleu that was delicious. My daughter also asked for a side order of barbecue sauce and they charged us double for that sauce. Maybe I am just old-school but when three people spend a couple hundred dollars on dinner and they charge you for a side order of barbecue sauce. It just seems cheap. The restaurant was very nice inside and the food was very good but the nickel and dime Stuff was subpar, and when our server took to the attention of the manager, I could see from our booth Her indifferent and snobby reaction was also not one that prioritized service and customers. I really wanted to have a five star meal and it could have been that if not for a few fixable and coachable opportunities. We will definitely be back because there aren't a whole lot of great dining options nearby and I will do my best to put this experience behind me, and, hopefully be able to erase this review and give them the five stars that I hope I can.

I do enjoy brunch here. My companion had the Benedict Special with crab cake, and as usual the eggs were done to perfection. I had the ‘big breakfast', which has a sausage link plus 2 strips of bacon. Truth be told, my biscuit was a little overcooked, but the eggs were not, thank goodness. However, does the chef really not know the difference between scrambled eggs and an omelette? My eggs were more soufflé like than scrambled but yummy all the same. I've said it before and I'll say it again... get rid of those lousy cubed potatoes.

Great brunch visit! Food was excellent, service attentive and knowledgeable. The place is big - lots of rooms but still cozy despite its extensive spaces. Hung at the bar after brunch to watch Game Day from Cassell and looking forward to visiting again, soon.

They were quick to bring out our food. Gave us a nice and tucked away place for our date, and were very kind in serving us. They also checked on us repeatedly to know if we wanted anything, while trying to not be there. It was a good time.

We've enjoyed eating brunch, lunch and dinner at 622 North over the years. The food is always fresh and flavorful and the service friendly and prompt. One suggestion would be to install baby changing tables in the bathrooms.

Our server, Ray, was outstanding. We shared the Fried Green Tomatoes and Cornish Hen. I like the Fried Green Tomatoes a firmer in the middle, however they were very tasty as was the Cornish Game Hen and the sides. Desert, the carrot cake was delicious.

Fairly good experience here! Came on a Saturday for lunch, and it was very quiet. Service was friendly and prompt. As for the food, it was good too! I went with the Turkey BLT which I had no complaints about. I can't really attest to how the place is at dinner, but I imagine that it could get quite busy. Didn't order any alcohol, so I don't really have much to add there.Solid spot, and I'd come back to try the dinner.
