Had six people for dinner and some new people who had never been to Macado's before. Took a while for food to be ready, but was good. The only problem was that the chef was way too liberal with the black pepper on the pasta salad. First time I've had any issues with that. Other than that, very pleased with the quality of the food and the service.
Ordered the Ragtime sandwich which is rare roast beef, Swiss, bacon and macado sauce on grilled rye bread. I got roast beef and cheese, no sauce and served on toasted white bread. Not the same. The place was super hot and stuffy and we were seated in a high top around the bar and the bartender who had 1 customer barely addressed us and took forever to get out check.
