One of my favorite places. We went Saturday and they had a new young lady on the cash register and she unfortunately messed up almost all of our orders. The owner came out and could not have been more pleasant and apologetic.This is our "go to" place in Blacksburg. Great beer! The only recommendation is that because the line gets long sometimes, never run a tab, since you have to wait in the same long line to pay your tab. Just pay as you go.But overall, great people, great food, and great service!

Came back a couple of weeks ago with my friends, and had a far more disappointing experience. The drinks/food aren't bad - they're actually pretty good. However, the lady who ran the cash register had a really bad attitude. One of my friends, who is from out of state, was harassed during the entirety of our time here for allegedly having a fake ID (it was not fake). The harassment didn't even stop once we had gotten our food/drinks - she actually came over to the table and asked to look at their ID again. I found this to be rude and very unprofessional.It's such a pity because Rising Silo is such a nice place - I hope management does something about this.

Their food is consistently good, the beer and hard seltzers, kombuchas etc never fail, and they already had a decent number of non-alch options - but now they have even more by offering Athletic Brewing! Awesome :)

Rising Silo is the best local farm brewery around along with the farm fresh food and produce market of Glade Road Growing. A beer with a beautful sunset, chirping frogs and a stroll through the farm, leaves you wishing you didnt have to leave farm life. Life is better at the farm.

My husband, dog and I enjoyed an afternoon at Rising Silo Brewery and would definitely come back. Beautiful views and nice spread out tables so it was easy to bring our dog, Rascal. Rascal had such a good time in the sunshine! Very good soft pretzels and apple cider.
Great evening and dinner after hiking Cascade Falls. Creative beers, wood fired pizzas, live music, and sunset. Hard to beat.

Absolutely amazing. Did a flight of 4 beers and each was incredibly unique and delicious. Also had perhaps the best pasta salad I’ve ever tasted. From the friendly staff to the gorgeous view, this is one of my favorite places to visit in Blacksburg. Will definitely be back.
