Good bar with good drinks and food, they have the best game day viewing set up in Blacksburg. I just wish they didn’t charge the five dollar cover to get in at night though they did not used to charge any cover. Also they were forced to stop letting as many people inside the bar so now it only gets half full and there’s always a long line and it takes forever for them to let people in now. Good afternoon. I'm a Virginia Tech alumnus - but I'm also from North Dakota. Consequently, I'm very hard to please when it comes to really good bison. Sharkey's Wing and Rib Joing has it in Blacksburg, Virginia. On Mondays, they have their two for one burger specials - and bison is part of that deal. I never order bison at higher level of cooking than Medium-Well (if you cook bison at well done, then you essentially have a potato chip - word of caution...
Place is awesome. Highly recommend the Bison Cheeseburger Wrap. Spot is clean, servers are kind, they’re undoubtedly one of the best casual sit down spots in Blacksburg for sure, would recommend taking visitors, watching football, etc.
