The fried chicken was so Good and so wad the Pimento mac and cheese however the apple pie and ice cream dessert was one of the best apple pies I ever had!! The atmosphere, the staff and the owner were top notch. It is hard to find a place anymore in America that still cares about what they offer to their customers. Not since The Homeplace and The Roanoker closed have we had good fried chicken ... until today! It was hot, fresh, crispy outside and juicy inside. Delicious sides, homemade Biscuit and cornbread too. Dan, the owner, greeted us, checked to be sure we were satisfied. Run, don't walk, to experience great food on Main Street in downtown Blacksburg!
Amazing food and wonderful service. A welcoming and unique atmosphere. We came into town for a football game and would come back just for this food.
