“We stopped on Saturday after a funeral. We were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Devil Eggs appetizer was very good. Great coffee. Nora had a turkey sandwich and French fries. It was very good served with a tasty sauce. I had a salad with chicken. Chicken was very tender with good taste and salad was very good, Overall lots of food reasonably priced. “Our experience was 5 out of 5. This brand is always consistent and dependable. No surprises. Comfortable , clean rooms, nice amenities and easy check in. We had dinner in the restaurant and Izzy was our server. She was so attentive and pleasant it made our experience really enjoyable. We were the only diners and saw many people leaving the hotel at dinner time. No doubt for wonderful restaurants but I suggest they try what the hotel has to offer. Steaks were excellent, vegetables and potatoes cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Thoroughly enjoyed this property.“

“The bartender from Saugertis is a customer service pro! She also made good drinks! Our server at breakfast the next morning was also excellent! We only ate breakfast at the restaurant and we enjoyed it. I only have 2 suggestions regarding the atmosphere. There are some lights on the walls that have flickering bulbs. One was by our table. We found them disturbing. The lamps on top of the bar should not be there. They interfere with conversations because you constantly have to maneuver your head around them to talk to others. They are both easy fixes. We would not hesitate to come back! Thanks again for the great service!“

The food was fresh and diverse -- probably the best homemade veggie burger we've found in a while, with a nice crunch to complement the excellent flavors, and probably 50 different combinations on the menu to dress it up. And our bartender was very impressive -- they got unexpectedly slammed with a 2 pm lunch rush, but the bartender took care of everyone with calm, friendliness, and spot-on recommendations about their orders. Definitely will return.

“I ordered takeout online around 10pm and both of the women behind the bar were so so nice to me. At the end of a shift I would expect to not necessarily be greeted with such enthusiasm but those staff members greeted me like it was the start of the day! Also my food came out a little early and was delicious!“

I absolutely loved the garlic fries and the jalapeño burger had a kick to it. My family members ordered the mushroom Swiss & the lava queso. They both enjoyed it. However, he wished that the lava queso did not have that much sauce when trying to take a bite. Overall, I enjoyed my meal!

“What a great vibe for an evening cocktail! We had a one night stay in Winchester and decided to do an after dinner stroll in the Old Town area when we wandered into Union Jack. The new owner, Jason, really made us feel welcome and shared with us his vision for this long time establishment. Great bar. We were there after the kitchen closed so I can't give a review on the food but I would bet it's good! Jason is working hard to be top notch on everything!“
