“I order here at least 1 time a month and the food is overpriced for some reason nothing too special but the last time I was here I was super happy with the service the atmosphere was a bit different the employees were having food and playing around in the kitchen but still staying organized and getting those orders out quickly. It's a McDonalds, the staff here is mostly >25 years old, they're dealing with the concequences of end stage capitalism by participating in it because they have no other choice. The owners are probably either a massive LLC who doesnt care because youre going to buy the IP anyway or an actual mom and pop who are trying to get their promised ROI and are trying to keep staff satiated. Cut em a break, get your slop, and move on with your life. You're the one who wanted to go to a drive thru instead of cooking something yourself and chose Micky Dee's expecting a Michelin experience ??“

“The El Vaquero is perfection. Probably one of the best "burgers" I have had. I put quotes around burger as while I guess technically it is a burger it has been modified way beyond burger status that the only reason you know it is a burger is it is on a bun.

That said it is a perfect mix of flavors, quite messy, although they do bring you plenty of napkins and knife and fork if you choose to eat it that way.

Service was good, and the wait time for a table was longer than the wait after ordering. The place is small, sort of divey but in a good way. Had a Miami vibe from decades ago. Decore and photos from the 50s were a definite plus.

Guessing the Cuban food here is also legit, but you simply have to try a burger that also has crispy flank steak, rum carmelized onions, swiss cheese and spicy-smoked aioli. Whoever came up with that was an evil culinary genius, and I mean that in the best possible way. Devilishly good.

Worth a visit if you are anywhere nearby.

“I found these guys across from Mercy house thrift store.
The burger is the best I've had in years. Found them tonight in new market to get more burgers. Again, they did not disappoint. Excellent food and they are very nice people. If you try their food, you won't want burgers from anywhere else. Very happy with them and will follow them around from now on. Thanks so much for the great food“

“This Steak 'n Shake is located on James Madison University Campus in the D-Hall building. The menu is limited, but it has the essential Steak 'n Shake items - burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! Prices are about the same as a traditional location. For non-campus members, visiting may be hard due to parking restrictions.“

“The app! You gotta get the BK app on your phone. Always a great deal on it, especially on Whopper Wednesday. I forgot how much I like the whopper with cheese. The onion rings are pretty tasty. I get 2 packs of the zesty onion sauce. One for the rings and the other I put on the sandwich. It's so good that way. When I get home I'll pop the burger in the microwave for 30 seconds. Makes all the difference. Now the whole thing is hot. The one detraction to BK is the bun is cold. I'm not sure they even toast the thing anymore.“

“First time visit to Cookout. Pleasantly surprised, the burger was fresh and tasty. Good chili too. Service was quick and efficient. It's clean enough. I found the menu board quite "busy" and a little confusing, so many options. That said, the cashier was very helpful and delivered exactly what I wanted.“

Parking: There were plenty of parking. If they don't have enough you could park in behind BK lower bottom from Martins and other businesses“

“I ordered a sandwich around 9pm, and to be delivered by DoorDash. For some reason I didn’t receive my delivery about 45 minutes later. I give Macado’s, and DoorDash 5 stars. Macado’s, and DoorDash both worked together to get my package delivered as quickly as possible! Even though the product was a little cool, it wasn’t from lack of effort! I enjoyed the product, and the determination from the driver to deliver my product as quickly as possible! Looking back on my meal, I would rate my experience 5 stars!! They went above, and beyond which is rare these days! Thank you!

“Kid-friendliness: My son has autism and Ashlyn (I hope I spelled it right) was working in the front and she was so considerate. She asked me if vacuuming would be too loud for him, and if so that she could wait. No restaurant or fast food place has ever asked me this and offered to accommodate my son like this DQ has, this place is so awesome and she needs a raise!“

“Dec. 2023, we had our worse restaurant experience ever. My past review still shows here. After my review, we got a call from Applebee's asking us to give them another chance. I said no way because that visit had been us giving them a second chance. Eventually they offered us a large enough gift card that I took it. We just got around to using it and everything was good. Seated right away, service was excellent, low volume music was enjoyable, food came out quickly, and the food tasted good. We will be going back.“
