“I go here all the time. Not only for the food, but for the great hospitality and customer service. I get treated as if am attending a family reunion, cook out, or a party. The owners are absolutely phenomenal. Some of the best food in Harrisonburg without a doubt. The El jefe is an absolute masterpiece of a burger, let alone there beautiful chop chop (add steak, you won’t regret it), to there appetizers such as the empanadas or tostones. The bar is beautiful and has a massive selection of drinks! It’s not just food, it’s art, passion, & huge amount of dedication!“

“Best food and financial decision made this trip. The food came out fairly quickly, there was no line, the food was still hot and it was affordable; the meals were no more than $10 dollars for each person. For a tray you get 2 sides but the portions for the sides are somewhat smaller than expected but still decent. The food was also crispy and delicious. The chicken quesadilla was good and mildly spicy. The chicken nuggets were yummy, kind of sad I didn’t get to have more but it was only a side. The fries were scrumptious but it was also a small portion since I got it as a side. The corn dog was delicious as well as the pulled-pork sandwiches with hush puppies on the side. I recommend going there for lunch because it’s not a heavy meal. We will be coming back there whenever we come back to Massanutten.“

“The restaurant was full of people, but we were served in a timely fashion. The food was hot and delicious. Five of the folks with us had Whopper combos, one had a whopper Jr. And I had the chicken club combo. Everyone was happy with the food and the service.“

“This Steak 'n Shake is located on James Madison University Campus in the D-Hall building. The menu is limited, but it has the essential Steak 'n Shake items - burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! Prices are about the same as a traditional location. For non-campus members, visiting may be hard due to parking restrictions.“

“The food was great, fresh, and hot. I was a a little skeptical of eating there because I had a bad experience w the one at Mauzy BK. This BK was super clean. Cashier was awesome. I also got to see the kitchen very nice to watch them make your sandwich. Kitchen was also clean.

Parking: There were plenty of parking. If they don't have enough you could park in behind BK lower bottom from Martins and other businesses“

The staff here is literally amazing, they are so friendly to our new 1 year old and are incredibly attentive! We have enjoyed our last two visits a ton!“

“What an AWSOME place. The waiter (Tim ) was excellent, funny, quick,friendly and such an out going personality. The cook messed up my sandwich but the waiter was super nice and apologetic about the mix up, he did everything he could to make me happy about it. I would highly recommend this resturant.“

“Food was not on par, I got something totally opposite of what I ordered. However, I called the restaurant and spoke with a male manager sounded mid 20s and he was polite. Furthermore, since it was their mess up he fully refunded my order. Overall I give it 4 stars but only because they gave me the wrong order.“

“Dec. 2023, we had our worse restaurant experience ever. My past review still shows here. After my review, we got a call from Applebee's asking us to give them another chance. I said no way because that visit had been us giving them a second chance. Eventually they offered us a large enough gift card that I took it. We just got around to using it and everything was good. Seated right away, service was excellent, low volume music was enjoyable, food came out quickly, and the food tasted good. We will be going back.“
