“This location is hit or miss- no hot McCafe , so no lattes which makes me skip this locations often.
Basic menu is fine , I wouldnt recommend ordering the chicken tenders - took forever to get them and they were not cooked through. That was a once and done so could have been a fluke but no willing to try again. Can be difficult tonget in and out of the parking lot as its a busy area. Employees are always friendly.“

“I tried something that sounded different. I tried the burger with peanut butter, jelly, and bacon. The fries were good, too. It was delicious. Jansen cooked our food and even brought it to our car. Great food and service! I'll definitely be back.“

“I go here all the time. Not only for the food, but for the great hospitality and customer service. I get treated as if am attending a family reunion, cook out, or a party. The owners are absolutely phenomenal. Some of the best food in Harrisonburg without a doubt. The El jefe is an absolute masterpiece of a burger, let alone there beautiful chop chop (add steak, you won’t regret it), to there appetizers such as the empanadas or tostones. The bar is beautiful and has a massive selection of drinks! It’s not just food, it’s art, passion, & huge amount of dedication!“

“I found these guys across from Mercy house thrift store.
The burger is the best I've had in years. Found them tonight in new market to get more burgers. Again, they did not disappoint. Excellent food and they are very nice people. If you try their food, you won't want burgers from anywhere else. Very happy with them and will follow them around from now on. Thanks so much for the great food“

“This Steak 'n Shake is located on James Madison University Campus in the D-Hall building. The menu is limited, but it has the essential Steak 'n Shake items - burgers, chicken strips, and milkshakes! Prices are about the same as a traditional location. For non-campus members, visiting may be hard due to parking restrictions.“

“Awesome DQ store. The best in Harrisonburg imo. Fast service. Food quality is 10/10. The staff could be a tad bit more friendly or welcoming. When I say hello, I would expect a hello back, which hasn't happened the last handful of time I've been. I wish there was a pecan flavor.“

“Food was not on par, I got something totally opposite of what I ordered. However, I called the restaurant and spoke with a male manager sounded mid 20s and he was polite. Furthermore, since it was their mess up he fully refunded my order. Overall I give it 4 stars but only because they gave me the wrong order.“

“Best food and financial decision made this trip. The food came out fairly quickly, there was no line, the food was still hot and it was affordable; the meals were no more than $10 dollars for each person. For a tray you get 2 sides but the portions for the sides are somewhat smaller than expected but still decent. The food was also crispy and delicious. The chicken quesadilla was good and mildly spicy. The chicken nuggets were yummy, kind of sad I didn’t get to have more but it was only a side. The fries were scrumptious but it was also a small portion since I got it as a side. The corn dog was delicious as well as the pulled-pork sandwiches with hush puppies on the side. I recommend going there for lunch because it’s not a heavy meal. We will be coming back there whenever we come back to Massanutten.“

“Came here with my family on a Thursday evening, and the location was oddly busy, there was one waitress and a packed dining room. Despite this, she was friendly, our food was out quickly, and every customer seemed to be in good spirits. I know from personal experience that a night like that can make anyone frantic, but the staff handled it with grace and dignity. Kudos to all“

“The food was great, fresh, and hot. I was a a little skeptical of eating there because I had a bad experience w the one at Mauzy BK. This BK was super clean. Cashier was awesome. I also got to see the kitchen very nice to watch them make your sandwich. Kitchen was also clean.

Parking: There were plenty of parking. If they don't have enough you could park in behind BK lower bottom from Martins and other businesses“

“Edit (as of 10/4/26): As I said in a previous review, the service here is never great. However, today - we had the BEST service we have ever had. Our waiter, DeAnna, was fabulous. I watched her run the restaurant single handed while others were no where to be seen. She got to our every need in no time flat. 11/10 stars for her. Macados - give that woman a raise.

We eat here regularly (mostly because of the 0.39$ wings and cheap beer) and to be honest the service is never the best. But we ignore it for the most part. However, today we had the worst experience. It started off good. (ie got our drinks, placed our order etc.) We ordered 2 appetizers. The first one came out in a timely manner - but it had tortilla chips instead of flatbread. No big deal. Then we wait a good 45 mins & the waitress hasn’t came back. By this time we are all out of drinks & our other appetizer hasn’t showed up. When shes come back she says itll be another 30 minutes on our food, including the other appetizer. Keep in mind all we ordered was wings, a wrap, & the appetizer is literally melted cheese and Tostitos chips on a plate. So, nothing time consuming to make. We ask for the manager. About 10 minutes later she brings our food out with the appetizer - most of the stuff was cold like it’s been sitting. The manager comes out. He was cool & took the appetizer off our bill & discounted the wrap. However, the waitress was not up to par - worse than normal macados servers. I hope we never get her again. Also - the restaurant wasnt even busy. ☹“

“My last two trips to this Wendy's have been nice. The food was fresh. The only complaint is the length of time getting through the drive-thru. Also, I tried to order online at this location, but it was either down or they don't offer that service yet.“

“Dec. 2023, we had our worse restaurant experience ever. My past review still shows here. After my review, we got a call from Applebee's asking us to give them another chance. I said no way because that visit had been us giving them a second chance. Eventually they offered us a large enough gift card that I took it. We just got around to using it and everything was good. Seated right away, service was excellent, low volume music was enjoyable, food came out quickly, and the food tasted good. We will be going back.“

“I love McDonalds and compared to the service i get back home, this mcdonalds is excellent. The staff was very nice, friendly, amd helpful. Inside the lobby and the lady's restroom were clean.
