“I have no idea why anyone would be giving this place a one- or two star review. 3 MAYBE if it was just an off night. I have eaten here for lunch several times, and every time was awesome. The inside is beautiful and CLEAN. The salsa bar has a great selection, and the food is reasonably priced and tastes incredible! I hate seeing it empty every time I've gone for lunch. This is the best Mexican place in Bristol I've tried so far.“

“We were visiting from Knoxville, we rarely eat out as it’s overpriced for quality of food. Puerto Nuevo changed our minds. The atmosphere is welcoming, clean and the staff are dressed professionally with smiles and warmth. The salsa bar is a wonderful way to start with fresh, colorful and flavorful options. We ordered the corn ribs as that was new item we had never seen before. They were wonderful. We chose steak items and the ranchero sauce was delicious and homemade. Valerie was an amazing server and the manager gave us each a free dessert of tres leches that was wonderful way to end the meal. If we lived closer this would be our numero uno place to dine.“

“My Boyfriend & I went here for the first time the other day it was very good and we went in last minute before closing and it was still fresh and good I’d really recommend this it’s honestly better then chipotle and you get your moneys worth of portions and it taste very good and not to mention the 2 males working that night gave us a free large thing of queso to try since it was are first time being there I wish I would have got there names to shout them out I think one may be a manger but he was very nice ! It’s very clean and also we went back last night to get just some of there delicious sweet tea and the manger from the previous night of eating there or so asked us how we like it and yes it was gass meaning good ! I will be eating here way more ! And not to mention the free chips and salsa bar is 100% worth it especially for having to pay the amount you do they give you free chips and salsa I love it and some place make you pay for the same chips and salsa but I say 10/10 !!“

“One of the Best in the area. We've been to quite a few. Food is always fresh. We do tend to customize but even the non customized items are delicious. The protein is always suffice as well. We have also been there at different times of the day. Now when we go to other locations we wish we would have waited to come here.“

The service it's top notch, it is far above and beyond anywhere else I've seen. It's so good, in-fact, whenever I eat somewhere else I almost feel guilty as I never experience a fraction of the same service anywhere else.

The food is, generally, pretty damn good too, especially for the price!

My husband had tilapia tacos and said they were the best fish tacos he has ever had. I had carne asada burrito and it was delicious. This will definitely become one of our regular restaurants when visiting.“
