“This is in my top 3 places in the tri cities. I grew up never being big on Mexican food. Just wasn't my thing. That all changed when I came here. This restaurant became a staple for our lunch breaks while working in Kingsport. The food here is not only incredible, but incredibly consistent. And so is the service. It's always lightning fast and so fulfilling. I love this place and I love the staff that work here. My only regret is that I live so far from this place. Oh Pollo loco con chorizo my beloved 💙“

“Nice small local Mexican food joint that reminds me of Texas. Food was really good. They even have carne Asada fries which I have not had since I left Texas. Agua frescoes are made from scratch and well worth it.

Only problem I had was prices are kinda high.“

“I only eat here once a year usually the day after Christmas and that's because it's on my way to my Bristol winter getaway. I love their quesadillas and just about anything on their menu. The meals are very filling and the service is good as well ☺️. They have several other restaurants with the same title in different locations but for me this is a can't miss.“

Amigos used to be so good but tonight was just terrible. My husbands rice was still hard and chicken was bland. The tortillas for my enchiladas weren’t edible and tasted old, the chicken was really odd tasting, and they also put the salad on top which was lukewarm by the time I got home, let me tell ya, warm sour cream is not good lol. I think that should be put on the side. Anyway all I ate was the beef inside and the chips. I don’t normally complain but I’m so sad the whole meal was unsatisfactory and we spent so much on the food.“

“We have eaten at White Duck Taco locations in Asheville, NC, and Chattanooga, TN, so when we saw there was one in Johnson City - attached to Yee Haw Brewing no less! - we knew this was our dinner spot on a recent trip. Did not disappoint. All the tacos are good but we loved the Bahn Mi and the Shrimp and Grits tacos! White Duck’s menu is fun, creative, affordable, and always tasty.“
