“This is in my top 3 places in the tri cities. I grew up never being big on Mexican food. Just wasn't my thing. That all changed when I came here. This restaurant became a staple for our lunch breaks while working in Kingsport. The food here is not only incredible, but incredibly consistent. And so is the service. It's always lightning fast and so fulfilling. I love this place and I love the staff that work here. My only regret is that I live so far from this place. Oh Pollo loco con chorizo my beloved 💙“

“don’t be fooled by the cheap looking menu or small interior! the food here is great! we got seated and immediately got chips and salsa, and then later a refill of that! our server was very friendly. food came relatively fast for a party of 9.. we were the only ones there though.
got the birria tacos (get these at any mexican place, definitely recommend) and they were FANTASTIC!“

“My thousand miles a week on the road brought me to this restaurant today. I had glanced at the menu here on Google prior to showing up and didn’t see the Cocktail de Cameroon that I liked on the menu. I called and asked if they had it, they said yes, though it wasn’t on the menu, they’d be happy to make it for me, which is fantastic. The server knew exactly what I was asking for. This is some of the best I’ve had in months probably the only oneI’ve had better is my own cause I think I make a pretty good one. This was outstanding the shrimp were fresh and tender. They were not overcooked and I personally like it with lots of pico de gallo in it so I had asked about putting some extra in and you can tell by the picture they did. Unfortunately, this is a part of the country that I don’t cover so it’s unlikely that I’ll be back anytime soon. Just my luck. ☹“

“I don’t understand the less than 5 star reviews. This place is delicious. The cheese dip is yummy, the service can be spotty, but the food is good. There aren’t many Mexican restaurants around the area that I feel hit the mark, but they do.“

“We have eaten at White Duck Taco locations in Asheville, NC, and Chattanooga, TN, so when we saw there was one in Johnson City - attached to Yee Haw Brewing no less! - we knew this was our dinner spot on a recent trip. Did not disappoint. All the tacos are good but we loved the Bahn Mi and the Shrimp and Grits tacos! White Duck’s menu is fun, creative, affordable, and always tasty.“

“Haven’t ate here in awhile but decided to order to-go tonight. My husband got Pollo Loco, I got the Enchiladas Supreme, and we got a couple tacos. Our total was $40. It was a total waste. Amigos used to be so good but tonight was just terrible. My husbands rice was still hard and chicken was bland. The tortillas for my enchiladas weren’t edible and tasted old, the chicken was really odd tasting, and they also put the salad on top which was lukewarm by the time I got home, let me tell ya, warm sour cream is not good lol. I think that should be put on the side. Anyway all I ate was the beef inside and the chips. I don’t normally complain but I’m so sad the whole meal was unsatisfactory and we spent so much on the food.“

“This restaurant was an amazing find for a late lunch as we drove north today! Not far off the highway, the food was nicely spiced, the salsa was yum and the price was really great! The portion size was just perfect. I can't recall when we've eaten a lunch with the right amount of food for under $10 each! We'll done!“
