“I ordered taco bell from doorsash and they said couldn't make it cause they were out of beef and chicken so I said Change to steak cause I know they do that at the store. I don't know what the owner is thinking having a manager that's rude and dumb and hung up on me! You can't just hang up on someone when you're a manager. I order here all the time, but won't be anymore!!!!“
“I always, always, always enjoy the grub at White Duck Taco.If I could suggest one thing to any newcomer... try the tacos as they have crafted them on the menu..The combination of ingredients may be so strange to you, but trust the experts.. The combination of those seemingly random ingredients are about to take your taste buds on a ride that no other taco has before..“
“My family eats here about once a week and I have to say it is amazing! We’ve been waiting a long time for an authentic Mexican restaurant and Costa Chica does not disappoint! The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. We are so impressed with the server, Michael. He’s very professional, attentive and so polite. If you haven’t tried it, do yourself a favor and check it out!PS- Michael ALWAYS interacts with our daughter who rarely speaks to any adults (tweens!). He’s the best!!10/10 :)“
“For the first time in a long time I sat down at a booth and had a meal it was both delicious and the delivery expedient. The staff were kind enough to seat me immediately. I enjoyed everything I had ordered which included an enchilada tamale rice refried beans and Dr pepper chips and salsa. 100% satisfaction and you're missing out if you skip El Charolais“
“Top Notch, one place the entire family agrees we love, queso dip, salsa and chips, service is outstanding and the food is so fresh it’s like eating in the kitchen. The staff treat you like family. We don’t talk about the other Mexican restaurants anymore, it’s too painful.Go here, there is a wait sometimes but well worth it and where I come from 1.5 hours can be common so get used to it folks word is getting out. Seriously thought I had reviewed them two years ago but my brain must have kept it secret for me.“
“This place has good food, a good atmosphere, and doesn't cost too much. It's definitely a great place to go locally. They have outdoor seating in the spring and fall along with entertainment on some evenings. The tacos are great too, especially with beef and sausage are my favorites. They also have several good beers on tap. Go check them out.“
“Seating was prompt with friendly and welcoming staff. Staff were attentive in making sure we have drinks and extra chips and salsa with our meal. The fajitas were awesome! We had plenty to eat plus brought the extra home for lunch again the next day.“
“Small spot but huge variety. Reminds me of home in CA. The atmosphere is musical. The aroma is fantastic. I recommend the chilaquilles, sope or a gordita de al pastor with lime. Now the Hot salsa is not for the weak.Vegetarian options: Rajas. Beans rice tortillas“
“I'm giving 4 stars because our waitress was absolutely wonderful but when I order a dish (polo loco ) and ask if I can have beans instead of rice I don't exp6my chicken to be all mixed in with my beans and the cheese which should have been mixed with the chicken was on the side! I told the waitress but did not make a huge deal about it because she was so sweet and it was not her fault but my lunch was ruined .“
“Absolutely wonderful food, service and experience every single time. I've never been disappointed! They are kind and accommodating! The food is always incredibly fresh and extremely well seasoned. Highly suggest them over the other Mexican restaurants nearby. Highly suggest trying their authentic mexican menu ~“
“We stopped in later in the evening with a group of exchange students, and we had the best waiter, Jesse! We had a great time and had lots of fun chatting with Jesse. Our student from Spain can't wait to go back for some seafood. Our food was amazing!“
“I'm from Southern California and have been missing good Mexican food. This place hit the spot for me. Authentic taco's, had carne asada and pollo. All of their salsas were fantastic. Will be coming back to try more items from their menu.“
“Clean eating area, attentive serversNo loud music (I prefer to be able to talk without raising my voice over music)There was one GF/DF item on the menu (although my waitress did request a clean grill to insure no butter)Tilapia con mango $16All other items served with some level of dairyDietary restrictions: They do not guarantee allergy free dishes without cross contamination, but the tilapia con mango just doesnt come with dairy“
“The taco’s were so delicious. The shrimp taco by far is the best. Everything was well seasoned and plentiful. The beans were dry and gummy- didn’t like them. Staff is very friendly and service is excellent. Parking was a little difficult but great location if you are downtown.“
“Everyone who works here is always friendly and very attentive!!! Our favorites are the cheese dip, the ACP, the Burrito Verde, Nachos (choose from Supremos, or the Shredded Chicken, or the Grilled Fajita Chicken) , or a fajita quesadilla, and a cheese quesadilla with a side of French fries for the picky eater. [Some days you wish you had waited for your drink before you eat the salsa! But it's delicious!]Kid-friendliness: Yes, they have kid size plates, and French fries, and chicken tenders.“
“When I moved from California to Tennessee I thought I'd left behind street tacos and entered the land of ladeling nacho cheese on everything and calling it "authentic." Then I found La Perla! Soft corn tortillas, cilantro and onions on top of asada, pollo, or carnitas. Lengua and menudo if that's your thing. Almost every time I eat here I'm one of the only white faces in the room. If you want fancy tables and your tacos with a hard shell, tomatoes, and cheese, go someplace else. For the real thing, La Perla is the place to go.“
“Pablanos has always been one of my favorites, and after having not been for years I am happy to report that they still don't disappoint. During this time when food prices are constantly rising, but food quality isn't, it's great to know there are places you can still count on for a decent meal. There was only one little thing that kinda sucked, and it was that the salsa bar has fewer selections now. If I remember correctly, there using to be about six options, and now there are only three.“
“Every time we go,(and we go alot), it's so very good !!!! My waitress Teresa at Colonial Heights is so nice and we ask for her specifically. Me and my fiancee love the cheesesteak burrito and rice, (no lettuce or tomato). And we get an order of cheese dip, I'll put even more cheese dip on my cheesesteak burrito. Hands down my favorite place to eat and my favorite meal. Heck even their Tea is even superb, especially with a squeeze of lemon. My favorite meal, my favorite place !!! Will be back many many times !!!!“
“Back for a second visit. Tried the birria pizza this time. Got the medium. And was huge. May have to see how big the large is next time. It was amazing. Believe I'm going to have to try every birria dish on the menu. The Alambre is on my list of things to try too. It sounds like it would be tasty. Queso was on point. Margaritas were excellent. Good service. A little slower than last time. But not bad considering the place was completely packed with large groups and a party. So, wasn't bad at all. The gf had fajitas. They were great. She ate on them for 3 days. So good size portion.“
“In Johnson City this past weekend, Moe’s has closed permanently, not surprising as it had been going downhill for quite a while, and I couldn’t face the usual boring food from Amigos or the other cookie cutter Mexican run restaurants . . . so I took a chance on Holy Taco. I was pleasantly surprised . . . the chips and red salsa were excellent, I got a taco with tofu, onions and cilantro on a soft corn tortilla . . . it was very good, although it was small, proportions could be bigger. Service was excellent . . . I’ll be back.“
“Food was great, service wasn't as great server never came back to even check on us or refill drinks price for the lunch specials was a pretty good deal.Parking: Lots of space and handy cap parkingWheelchair accessibility: Easy to maneuver inside restaurant and parking lot“
“Tasty food, fast service, friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. Good experience, we will be back.Kid-friendliness: Tables and booths are easy to set kids up. Highchairs, food section for kids. Kid friendly staffWheelchair accessibility: Sidewalk level, doors wide and fairly level. Lots of tables for wheelchair access.“
“Literally the best restaurant ever, the ? bomb , couldn't ask for a more friendly group of waiters and waitresses , foods always amazing and people are always kind and welcoming , honestly Chandler is the waiter we always ask for and he goes absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND , making every experience top notch !!! Good job amigos ?“
“As someone who isn't from Tennessee, and joined the bar scene not long after moving out here in 2019, Numans has always been the best bar I have been to. The staff are so friendly, the food hits the spot ALWAYS, and the drinks are phenomenal. Feels like we're all family when walking in and the employees definitely help that.“
“I visited La Carreta at lunchtime and caught the lunch specials. I ordered the Taco Salad. The shell had a really good flavor, and it was loaded with ground beef. The server was very sweet and checked on me several times. The ladies' restroom was clean. Unfortunately, one of the faucets would not shut off, and it looked like it had been that way for a while. There was plenty of parking. This location is not too far off of the interstate, so it's an option for travelers as well as locals. I was working in the area that day, and this was my first time eating there. I had an enjoyable meal.“
“I visited Si Señor a few months ago. This was before they had there liquor license. So, it's been a little while. My experience there was great! I sat by myself at the bar and ate a delicious meal they prepared (sorry I do not know the chefs na e or I would certainly give credit where it's due! ) The food was great and I foree Si Señor in my near future. Like today, sounds so good right now!Parking: The parking lot is very small and has approved 6-7 businesses. That's about the only downside. (Which I did not experience the day I visited) but have experienced it in that lot previously.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible“
