“Went for early dinner. The place was still empty. I wasn’t sure if they were open because the light on their signage was turned off. I came in from the back door (i guess the restaurant has 2 doors). I sat down at the booth. I had eel on rice. It was delicious, price matches the portion. The service also great. Definitely will be back to try their sashimi.

“It's delicious. The menu is varied and the amount of bun cha was too much for me to eat alone haha. The bun cha is not nuoc mam sauce and is a bit cold noodle broth, but it's still delicious~~ But the Google menu says bun cha is $16, but it's creepy that it went up to $27.“

“My family has been going here for just about every person's Birthday plus a few other times for the last 25 years. So we eat here about 6-8 times a year. The food and sushi is AMAZING, sauces are incredible! At this point I get more excited about other people's birthdays then they do! 😆.

I don't quite understand some of the bad reviews I've read here. It's not an in and out real quick restaurant, and there's about 500,000 homes within 10 miles of this restaurant which is one of the most popular in Gainesville, so we simply avoid holidays as I'm sure service is a little slower.

“It is what it is, a classic American hibachi cook it in front of you Japanese spot, our chef was awesome very fun and jovial and I really enjoyed my steak and shrimp, the soup could have used a bit more mushroom but that’s subjective, great cold sake for the price as well! “Great food, was able to customize the meal for my pickier kids. I added carrots to my Ramen and took out the mushrooms. Loved that I could customize so much of it! Kids loved the boba tea and the juice where you could add the boba balls to it. You could also pick how much sugar you wanted added!“
