“Excellent sushi- the best or one of the best places I've tried! Our favorite rolls are the Funky Roll, Candy Cane Roll, and Pacific Roll. They are so delicious!Your order also comes with complimentary soup and salad. These are also yummy- especially the salad!The staff is nice. The ambiance is nice. It was quiet both times we went- not much people.The food does take awhile to get to your table. Expect 30 minutes to an hour or so. But it is worth the wait!“

“Always a solid experience at this place. I prefer the special rolls and off menu items some rolls have changed over the years but if you request the roll by name they will make it. Customer service is very efficient and keep the food moving. Highly recommend this place, it is a bit pricey but well worth the money.“

“Didn't think I would have a go-to sushi spot in centreville once takohachi closed but this really takes the spot. The service here was very efficient and the servers were super kind and personable. Sushi was great and tasted very fresh. I love that they have the sushi bar so you can see them prepare your food. Overall, will definitely be coming back here in the future“
“Tempura is excellent . I had the steak deluxe bento and daughter got the chicken. We share the shrimp and vegetable tempura which was excellent but the dipping sauce was very small .I think my daughter’s chicken was better than my steak which was a tad chewy. I didn’t get hot mustard with my spring roll which made its bit bland. Wasabi portion was so small that I could not even taste it. The food was typical for this price point, but the 45 minutes drive puts it too far out for a repeat visit.“
“I was in town trying to find some sort of Asian cuisine and I stumbled upon this place. Clean and relaxed environment. Good service and friendly. I ordered the beef and broccoli lunch special with a salad and substituted the rice with lo mein. Let me tell you that this is the best beef and broccoli I've ever had. Salad was good and lo mein was great. Overall a great place to eat.“
“The woman forgot to closely track my order. The order was made and she forgot that it was my order. I waited at least an extra 15 minutes. Only til I looked at a package that it was my order. Of course, now I get home and I am missing my yellow tail sashimi. Poor service and quality control of take out orders.“

“I have been a regular at this establishment for over a year now and this is my favorite restaurant for ramen by far!!! I’ve been to Japan and tried 5 different ramens(all good) however, none of them compared to Araki ramen! My order every time: Tonkatsu ramen with chicken and mango snow with mango jelly( bubble tea)! I bring all my friends and family here and I will continue to support this establishment for years to come!The whole staff is just as amazing as the food. “Took my wife to dinner here, loved the steak roll, red sox roll, and volcano roll. The sushi here is delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the ambience is awesome. I also appreciate that the servers give you some space and only check in periodically so you can enjoy your meal without a bunch of interruptions. “This a great option for something filling for a great price! We ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi, chicken and salmon hibachi, chicken dumplings, shrimp tempura roll, and 2 extra yummy sauces and paid $32. Quick and polite service! We were starving and ate the sushi and dumplings on the way home but the shrimp tempura roll was my favorite! It was warm and crunchy but I think that’s intended since it’s fried but I loved it especially with the pickled ginger. My food was filling and so good I ate the majority of it without the yummy sauce in the car lol. No regrets stopping here for quick to go dinner!“
“I ordered the salmon teriyaki bento, which came out to a little over $27 after tax. Seemed a bit steep. The food came out beautifully presented and it was all very good, so I cannot complain too much, just a bit on the expensive side, even with inflation and being Northern Virginia. Service was friendly and the food didn't take terribly long to prepare. The California roll it came with did taste like it was high quality.“
“The sushi rolls are mid-level, but considering the options in Gainesville, probably the best local place I’ve had yet. The staff are kind, they did forget parts of our order but did eventually get it out to us. The fish is good grade fish, tastes fresh, no hint of “fishy-ness”. The simple rolls had an extremely thin layer of rice to my surprise; patchily showing the seaweed underneath. However the specialty rolls were delicious, so definitely order those.“

“Kid's favorite for sushi and gyoza. I usually get the volcano ramen, not the best, but it will do when you crave ramen. The restaurant is always clean, plenty of parking, and service is always consistent. We always make reservations when we have a large party, but they are usually able to accommodate small walk-in parties.“
“This is my first time trying Wasabiko and already love it! Definitely coming back to try other options on the menu! I ordered "Boss Roll" and it was delicious! It has a light smoke taste due to the cooked top and a slight spiciness at the end of everybite. AMAZING!“
