“Being a BBQ connoisseur in Texas, I was rather excited to try this meat shak. We went with a large group so I was unable to try all that I wanted to, and was rather surprised at their additional charges for plates and cups. It was, however, the fanciest cup I have ever paid 75 cents for. The turkey was very good and juicy. Their chicken and shredded pork were delightful, but a little sweet for my Texas taste. For sides I only tried the Mac and cheese, but it was some of the best I have ever tasted. The crust blended well with their cheese choices, creating an exquisite taste. Their sauces were good, and I particularly liked their spicy mustard-like sauce. It paired well with their meats. I personally believe they could improve their bread options but they were sufficient for their purpose. Outside seating was nice, but the tables did have spider webs on them. Felt like they hadn’t been used for quite some time. I didn’t spend any time inside the restaurant, so I cannot make any comments on the decor and its feel. Overall it was a good experience, and I would go back to at least try their brisket.“
