We had a great experience! The ice cream was delicious and the facility was extremely clean. Our son has a peanut allergy and they took it very seriously. It was obvious they have been trained in cross contamination/allergen protocols. We went two times during our stay and protocols were followed consistently. Allergens are clearly marked. There’s a reason this place won best ice cream in Virginia two years in a row. The ice cream was amazing. The portion sizes were even better. I would definitely come back if I lived here.
Great ice cream shop with an old town feel. Unique selection of ice cream, including peanut butter and jelly, and beet, goat cheese raspberry, which my wife had and she said it was great. Ask for a pup cup if you have a dog. Ice cream for lunch is a real thing I promise.
