I so wanted to love this place but I never got the chance to try the food.My wife and I went in for lunch and each ordered, from the electronic ‘Lunch Specials’ board, the “Fried Catfish Sandwich with Fries...$8.49”. She wanted to substitute her fries for “Cole Slaw” and I wanted the “Onion Rings ($1.00 extra)”. Add a medium sweet tea, $2.49 and a large one, $2.99.“That will be $32 (something).”Okay-wait-what? 8.50+8.50+1+2.5+3, that $23.50 not $32.When we asked about it, and pointed to price on the specials board, the woman who took our order pointed to a small hand written sign several menu boards away that read “prices are subject to change”. Ok, that’s fine but you have to actually change the price on the menu. Right? I think Consumer Affairs would agree. (it's an electronic menu, it should be fairly simple).It turns out, or so from what I managed to decipher out of the convoluted explanation, the catfish sandwich with fries is now $8.99 and does not include the fries. Fries are $2.49. To substitute with slaw is a wash at $2.49 and the $1 extra onion rings are $3.49. Disappointed we asked for a refund and left on principle.

This was one of my favorite stops but the quality is not the same. I have gotten lunch and dinner here a couple times in the past two months and each time the food was just ok. The portions on the combo meals have shrunk and the crab cake is mostly filler. The best meal to get here now is breakfast.

The food was so beautifully presented I didn't want to disturb it with my fork. The scallops & cornbread were scrumptious & really hit the spot. I'd definitely go back. Five stars.

I normally try to not be picky, and I try even harder to not leave one star reviews but I had to for this.I ordered broiled flounder, Mac n cheese, and sweet potato fries.I was given fried flounder. I tried it because I didn't want to risk them throwing out food or wanting me to pay to fix their mistake like some places do at times. It was dry and tasteless.I appreciate the fact that they seem to have tried making their own Mac n cheese while most other places I've been to gives boxed however their Mac n cheese was gritty, runny, and tasteless.The only part I liked was the sweet potato fries, but it's extremely hard to mess up fries. Especially when they're bought pre-cut to keep in the freezer, as I know these were as somehow there were some parts of my fries that were still cold.

Very good food and value. You order and pay at the register and the food is delivered to the table you choose. It's a combo restaraunt-gas bar-and convenience store. We had baked sole, lima beans and roast potatoes..Partner had Crab Cake, roast potatoes and coleslaw.
I have diverted my travel down the Delmarva just to eat here!

For a street side joint in the back of a convenience store, they offer great selection, great food and very kind all around... got there at almost closing time and they still served us with a smile.

It's always a great place to stop in and get food.
I came in around 20mins to close and ordered to go because I didn’t want to be that person, but sitting in my car, I stuffed my face with seasoned flounder and cornbread. My corgi enjoyed the hush puppies. Will definitely visit again!
