Phenomenal service. Made a large order 40 minutes before closing. Hardly any wait, just the 15 minute drive there and maybe 5 minutes for them to bag everything. Entire staff was kind and acknowledged us on the way in and out. Food was good. I'd recommend the founder, and the popcorn shrimp.
Folks, this is a great place to eat, you get a lot of fresh food right there from the water, it is a down-home kind of restaurant if you don't know, pack your patience. The service is slow but it is worth the wait. If you're ordering takeout order a good half an hour beforehand. Chicken salad is always good iced tea is always good, and they usually have a very good soup. Anyone on the lower Eastern shore will tell you this is the spot to go.
We called ahead that morning since there was 17 of us. They were short staffed and had a bunch of to go orders at the same time and considering all of the orders that came in at one time they did a great job of getting the food out quickly and the food was very good.
