The tea I was told to be the least sweet was unbearable, it’s like concentrated out of the jar. The bingsu was edible, but like eating icecream and added a little too much condense milk, maybe that is why I don’t see any elders eating anything here other than bread patisserie.
I’ve always enjoyed coming to Shilla Bakery because they sell traditional Korean breads that my husband absolutely loves. The baked goods are generally fresh and good quality, and we’ve had many positive visits in the past.
However, when we went last weekend, there was a very strong sour milk smell in the air that was quite unpleasant — almost like baby spit-up. I’m not sure if it was coming from a trash can or somewhere else, but it was noticeable....

I was really looking forward to visiting this bakery, but unfortunately the overall experience fell short. While the baked goods themselves were decent, the cleanliness of the space was concerning. The floors were extremely worn, scratched, and visibly dirty, which made the entire place feel neglected.
