Been here quite a few times. Average winery with above-average crowd sizes (not a positive), above average seating quantity, poor wines, friendly staff, and mediocre, overpriced food. It’s nowhere near as attractive as Stone Tower, Breaux, Hillsboro, Dirt Farm, Bluemont, or even Quattro Goombah. This is strictly if you want “a winery” that’s closer, family friendly, and average on every front. That’s why we’ve been here...
Perfect for an afternoon daytrip if you live in the DMV. Great wines with live music on occasion. It is very convenient being right next to the battlefield. I recommend touring the battlefield first and then resting your feet at the winery. Plenty of parking.
Shared a bottle of the Chardonnay with my wife and daughter. It was delicious along with the cheese and crackers and prosciutto. They have a great family area and a place for the dog.
