Enjoyed food, but to go box charge was a shock. 25cents.

This is THE place for seolongtang in NoVa. They offer three different types, and they are all so very good.
However, their radish kimchi 깍두기 imo is the main star. It's so damn good and luckily you can purchase them separately to take them home. They are very generous with their 깍두기 as we get them refilled at least three times on a visit.

Will likely go there more often as it's getting colder.

Came in for lunch. We had to season our Seolleongtang ourselves with salt provided on the table, which I assume is traditional. But once seasoned, the soup was delicious. It was served with a bowl of purple rice and 2 kimchis, which were both excellent counter points to the rich broth. We also got the seafood pancake which was packed with calamari, shrimp and scallions. Between the two of us, we could only finish half of the pancake along with our beef soups. It was a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it!

The woman with glasses who glared at the customer in front of her because she didn't give him 20% and was still rude...

Despite all the bad reviews from their early operations, their service and quality of food drastically got improved. This place became my go to korean soul food: Gookbab(beef broth soup). Their broth was very savory and full of beef flavor. The meat in the soup was very tender and had no smell when I had it.

Went here twice before. Great quality food and attentive staff. Spicy tofu soup with beef was delicious. The Kim chi is really good too and comes with the soup on the side along with rice and pickled radish.

Great service, friendly female staff and delicious broth/Seolleongtang always great when feeling like something cozy and filling. I like that their broth is very milky and white, and not diluted. Overall tastes fresh

Dined in for lunch. Impressed by the rich quality of the beef broth and how soft the tendon was. Mandu were cooked well but nothing crazy. Their kimchi is spicier than other kimchi in the area which was interesting. Prices are a bit high for the amount of meat you receive but overall a good spot to dine in Centreville.

I ordered Sseok oh beef bone soup and Brisket beef bone soup but waitress brought two Brisket bone soup by mistake.
We didn’t knew it was wrong soup because of Soup’s color.
The waitress came, tolds us that gave wrong soup to us and stir the soup w/ spoon w/o permission to check ingredients in the soup. She left our table w/o explanation then came back few minutes later w/ meat on small dish then pour it in that soup when we are eating w/o explaining and apologize to us.
It is very rude service from waitress who has eye glass.
She should explain and apologize first for brought wrong soup.
We wouldn’t upset if she explained first.

They must have been so blinded by money that from the day they opened, if you wanted to eat the ingredients, you had to go out of your way to eat them, so you will never be able to go there again. I went again recently and nothing has changed, and there are no customers in the cramped interior. You reap what you sow.
