If you're local, this spot is an absolute must-try. The meat was perfectly seasoned and tender, the cheese melted just right, and the roll was fresh and held everything together without getting soggy. Plus, you need to add jalapeno, it's a kick!!! Every bite was packed with flavor. You can tell they put care into every detail. Whether you're a cheesesteak connoisseur or just looking for a great meal, you won’t be disappointed. “Today was my second time visiting Checkers Deli & Cafe and I think I found my place for breakfast and lunch. Their portions are generous and the entire team is very efficient. You can mark my words when I say your food will come out in less than 2 minutes. I was feeling bold today and I ordered the kimchi and bulgogi wrap and let me tell you, IT WAS THE BEST BULGOGI BURRITO I HAD!!! I'm excited to try rest of their menu as I keep coming but I would highly recommend this deli if you are looking for a quality, quick, and delicious breakfast and lunch!“

“Been a loyal Sam's costumer for 3 years. Breakfast sandwiches and omelets are excellent. They offer a variety of lunch options hot and cold; Monterey Chicken Wrap, West Coast Turkey sandwich, and Club sandwiches are highlights. Boxed lunches are substantial, fresh made on sight, and reasonably priced especially in Chantilly. I've ordered up to 40 with 2-3 days notice and they had them ready to go at 10:00 the day of our event. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Dine in area is bright, clean, and comfortable with plenty of seating. I prefer smaller privately owned food shops over chain restaurants, that and the friendly hardworking staff make SAM's Deli a gem in my eyes.“

I ordered a Sausage and Cheese Omelette with sourdough toast. It’s one of the best omelettes i’ve had. And the price was so nice and affordable. Stuff like this in california would cost double and have less quality.

If work asks me to travel back for fairfax, i’ll definitetly swing by for other items on the menu. Thinking of getting the Katsu next…

“If you want a real Italian sub then this is the place to go. This is one of our absolute favorite spots and we haven’t been let down yet. The Mad Italian is our go-to but you could get any sub and enjoy. Note: The Mad Italian is a huge sub, so it’s big enough to share with another person.“

“Staying at a hotel (Courtyard) down the street. I’ve been taking the metro into DC for a trade show. This restaurant is right there when leaving the metro.
I had the turkey club and fries. The picture says it all - sandwich was as good as it looks! Fries were hot and fresh.“

“Cook/owner went out of way to make us 2 Korean bulgogi beef plates w/salad on the side that wasn't on today's menu. Beef was delicious but it was more "hamburger" than steak. This cafe was a bit hard to get into as it was located inside a multi-tenant building with front doors locked, and the guard simply ignore us, so we followed someone in. I'd like to try other items on the menu.“

“Like many others, I stumbled upon this place while waiting for my vehicle to be complete at SafeLite. My experience was review worthy. Enjoyed a late afternoon club sandwich, very neatly and freshly prepared. Staff were attentive and most polite. Menu and beverage options delightful. Most noteworthy, however, was the cleanliness. While I dined, the staff were working to clean the deli prior to closing on a Saturday afternoon. Tables, floors, deli counters, ordering area, condiments, etc were all exceptionally tidy, clean, organized, and simply outstanding. That type of care translates to a welcoming and memorable hidden deli gem that locals should continue to patronize as they have already for so many years.“

“We placed a catering order with Santini’s. Chase and his team were absolutely great from start to finish. We ordered a couple Sub Party Platters. I recommend the “Godfather” and the “Jersey Boy” subs. Santini’s always uses the finest quality meats and cheeses. Their bread is always fresh baked and delicious. They went out of their way to package condiments and toppings (sweet and hot peppers) in separate containers to keep the subs from getting soggy. The pasta and potato salads were excellent. Make sure to order a Dessert Platter (Cookies, Brownies, Blondies and Cannolis) and you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend Chase and the whole Santini’s Crew.“
