Lotus Vegetarian

In case Lotus decides to reopen, here is my review: I had the Pumpkin Chowder soup to start, and it was decent but I had really high expectations from a New York Chinatown vegan Chinese restaurant called Bodhi. Good food, good service. I ordered the special lotus, I think, it was E1 on the menu, and it was just about exactly what I wanted. The service was a little sluggish, I was the only one there when I arrived, shortly after a table of four arrived, and then a large phone order came in. So I guess they got hit quickly at one time. This is the only reason why I didn't give them five stars.

This place is awesome! I've had a really hard time finding places that have vegan options but this place has a ton! I'm not sure what kinda voodoo they do with their soy protein but its phenomenal. We tried the dumplings and generals tos. I was throughout impressed with the "chicken" I will be a regular.
