“Absolutely fantastic restaurant! The food was delicious, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The Haneeth was the star of the meal, the meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of rich, authentic flavor. Every bite was satisfying, and the portion was generous.
The service was friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere made the experience even better. If you love Middle Eastern cuisine, I highly recommend trying the Haneeth here, you won’t be disappointed! Definitely a place I’d visit again.“

“Wanted a quick snack before popping into work and SO glad I stumbled upon this NEW Afghan spot! Definitely gonna have to come back and try literally everything.. the portion size of the plates coming out the kitchen on top of the amazing smells like fresh baked naan, I already told the owner to expect me weekly!! The owner, Sharif (hope I’m spelling that right) was super kind, enthusiastic and excited to share his hard work with everyone after a year long wait. I’m excited to see what else is in store for this authentic, delicious spot!“

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Mazar Afghan Restaurant in Virginia! The food was amazing—fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Afghan flavor. Everything we tried was excellent, and you can really taste the care and quality in the food.
A special thank you to the young lady who served us. She was incredibly kind, respectful, friendly, and welcoming. Her service made our visit even more enjoyable. Everyone at the restaurant treated us with great respect and made us feel comfortable and welcomed.
It is not easy to find a restaurant where both the food and the customer service are this good. We truly enjoyed our time at Mazar and will definitely come back again with our family.

“I recently tried the combo platter at Moby Dick, featuring lamb kabab and kobedah. The lamb kabab was definitely the highlight—the flavor was excellent and easily my favorite part of the meal. Unfortunately, I wasn’t a big fan of the kobedah because it was a bit too oily for my taste.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant has a clean, comfortable environment with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. Price-wise, it’s a little on the expensive side, but overall, it’s a good place to try, especially if you enjoy their lamb kabab. I’d definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.“

“Best delicious juicy bbq in the area with the right spices! Rice is cooked to perfect taste, the piece of butter they always add on top can easily be scooped out according to preference! The assorted salads are a great addition and very tasty. The humus is better than that made in Lebanese restaurant. I recommend everyone in the area to try it 👍🏼“

“This is by far our favorite kabob place! The meat is always cooked to perfection, the hummus is my absolute favorite it’s smooth and delicious. They also have a an outstanding catering service, always on time and the food is loved at every event I have! They have the best customer service and really go above and beyond for their customers!“

Ordered chicken sheekh kabab with fresh, yummy naan and rice. Side of chickpeas and sauce.
