This is one of our favorite “special occasion” places in the Charlottesville area. Both Veranda and Library are perfect for pleasant, low volume dining. While everything was special, tasty and well prepared, my favorite this time around was the bone marrow with escargot. Perfection!
Amazing experience!!! The food, service and atmosphere were outstanding and I would highly recommend this restaurant in the full range of a romantic evening to a business dinner. The food and chef's creations did not disappoint! We had appetizers including the tartare, salad and melon and prosciutto. Dinner choices were trout (my favorite) and steak. Exceptional preparation and flavor!!!
Excellent birthday dinner at Clifton. Paty V was our bartender and server. Appetizers consisted of Bone Marrow & Escargot, and Mussells. Entrees were Steak au Poivre, Salmon, and Arugula-Pesto Pasta. Dessert included the Panna Cotta, and chessecake. All-in-all, it was an excellent dinner for our birthday guest.
