“I really enjoyed the spot. My wife wasn’t in the mood and the place is a dive. That said, the Gus Burger is super tasty, there onion rings delicious and our cooks were most welcoming so what’s not to like!
We stopped in due to a recommendation from a UVA alumni who said this was a famous student hangout. We get it. Nothing fancy but great tasting burger and some other usual stuff.“

“Great burger love it but the fries need work they sit on the counter and wait for the server to bring them with your order and they are cold and greasy by the time you get them. Last time there in May I sent them back and asked for a fresh cooked batch which they did and they were so much better“

“I ate here on 19 NOV and it was immaculate inside. Everything was clean. The Food was outstanding. These are HOT cheeseburgers coming off the grill and the french fries are overwhelmingly great! The two guys working had everything in order and in place. It's been like 5 yrs since I ate here due to working up in NOVA - and just went back. These guys had this place squared away.“

“This was my second time visiting. The chicken is so good, and I love their herb-y ranch sauce for dipping. This little spot is so quaint, I love it. My partner got swiss cheese & mushroom hot dog and that was the best thing in his opinion. The food prices are very reasonable.
They always have lots of cocktails, and even some canned N/A mocktails too.“

“Courtney and Alex are amazing bar tenders. Always sweet and on point. They both deserve a pay raise and I wish they could work for us! We have NEVER been disappointed with either of their service and they go above and beyond their normal job to make sure EVERYONE is taken care of!!“

“Prices have gone up like crazy every where but I wasn't expecting to pay $52 on food just for 2 people. When I got my food I ordered cheese fries and got plain fried just a handful for idk how much and I apparently ordered a large tea which I never did. They need a screen or something at drive-thru so customers can verify that they are getting the order right. I know they are always busy and they don't read the order back to you to make sure everything is correct.“

“It's a sports bar... Food is great pub grub. Well done and served fast even when super busy (UVA parents weekend). Our server was covering the entire 2nd floor and did a great job. Management jumped to help. A lot of TVs with all the games. Fun vibes.“
