Small and family run. It felt like being in my grandmas house. Was the only customer but waitress was amazing. Cute little girl as well with her. Best mexican/south american food i had in years and best in Charlottesville! Please support this place! They also make fresh tortillas and have a market!
Great spot to stop in for some authentic food. From south of the border, make sure that if you order tamales, you order the tamales that you're used to honduran tamales, a mexican tamales, are very different.Overall, the food was good.The service was ok, but I think that was because it was during the middle of the day on a weekday, however, everybody was very polite and kind.
They very graciously welcomed a large group of us after 8:00 p.m. on a Saturday night. All the food was delicious.
