“A wonderful place to get a sweet treat. Plenty of dairy and gluten free options, and the owner, PK, is always very careful when I mention my food allergies. There are classic gelato flavors to choose from that sit alongside unique and really creative flavors for those who like to try new things! We also ordered custom gluten free & dairy free cupcakes for our baby shower that were absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Splendora's is a family favorite of ours. Definitely a small business to support!“

“We had such a great experience here. I ordered an oat milk latte and it was really good, honestly better than the ones I make at home 😂. We tried the chef’s special pastrami lox toast?, and we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. The beets added a nice freshness that balanced everything so well. My husband had the Bloody Mary and said it was perfect for his taste. On top of that, the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, which made the whole visit even better. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We went for a girls night out to celebrate wonderful friends. The food, wine recommendations and service were outstanding. The fried mushrooms were absolutely delicious. And the scallops with squid ink risotto was the best. We also enjoyed the halibut and creme brulee. Our server, Dylan, was fun and appropriately attentive. He made great recommendations on the food and wine.“

“I’m not one to leave reviews, small baby and little time! But this coffee shop necessitated looking up how to leave a review. It’s THAT good. Service was exceptional and welcoming. My husband loved the cinnamon and honey latte! My in laws both love coffee and very much so enjoyed their drinks as well. The kind barista made sure my mother in love had the perfect amount of cream to how she likes it. I love chai lattes and try them everywhere I go and this was probably top 2 if not #1 chai I’ve ever had (and I’ve probably tried over 100 different chais!) Might just make the trip back to Charlottesville just for this!“

“When you're walking up to a coffee shop and people are outside having happy conversations on the patio, you know you've found the right spot. C'ville Coffee is where all the locals come, and if that doesn't make you want to go, then you probably don't like good coffee.“

“I did take out, I loved their burritos, chicken, white rice, black beans, cream? sour cream? I don't know but I would ask for buffalo sauce too. Gosh, they were so delicious! I would love to have one again, but I don't work up that way anymore and I don't know if they have regained there total menu since the pandemic. But next time I am up that way I am going to check in and see!“

The staff is so friendly and the fact that my scuffins are still warm when I get them says all I need to know about the freshness. If you haven’t been in a while, give Great Harvest a try again.
