I have a great experience on each visit. The owner/bartender is amiable, the beer selection is expansive, and drinks are reasonably priced. This is one of the last watering holes downtown (as of 2015) where a working person can enjoy a nice atmosphere and afford a beer or two without emptying out their pockets. I can't speak for the food but the menu alone makes my mouth water and I look forward to trying it on the right day.
Great German beer selection. Has a very European vibe. Slow service, so don't go if you're in a hurry (like I said, European vibe. Haha!) Check out the urinals in the men's room. Must be from the 1920s.

When our Men's Auxiliary Group which meets monthly at some local "watering hole", in support of our wives book club meeting, I was a little concerned over the choice of the CST, as the reviews were pretty abysmal except for the wide beer selection. I acceded to the choice on the rationale that good beer can mask any disappointment.
