There were fruit flies when we dined here. It was a Friday afternoon and looks like they just opened and may have forgotten to clean the night before. Other than that, the food is great, pretty nostalgic pizza taste, and that Beer Dip Sauce (?) is a nice addition. The female staff is attentive and courteous, the male one chose to have his beer first before starting to work (he’s probably the bar tender).
On a quick weekend to visit Charlottesville and found this hidden gem off Main. Walked in and Brendan(?) happily greeted us and then brought us a pitcher of water to start. We ordered three different pizzas and each was amazing! The garlic knots are really, really good too. If you get a chance to look at their menu, the options are endless for toppings. The crust.... Love this place -- Awesome pizza!! And I'm pretty picky!! Recommend going in the summer, and after 6pm. Next to no one here and able to park in a closed business lot nearby. Say outside at the picnic tables there. And a treat for the kids to have a train come by so close!! Fun ambiance. <3
