This place was awesome. My wife and I went out for our 5 year anniversary talked to multiple regulars had great service and the band that was playing was entertaining and fun. A man ended up buying our tab for our anniversary and left before we could thank him going to show the incredible people that come here. If I’m ever back in town I’ll be returning. 👌
I have a goal to drink a draft Guinness in every Irish pub in Virginia by the end of the year and I am halfway there. I stopped by Durty Nelly's on way home from Charlottesville to check it off my list. I ordered a Guinness. Before I could look up, the bartender popped the top on a can of Guinness draft and handed me a pint glass. I asked him if they had draft Guinness and he said no. Great place - solid dive bar. I went to VA for Memorial Day weekend and stopped in here. We had two sandwiches, both were 10/10. Everyone seemed really friendly. I'll have to go back here again next time I'm in the area.
