“Went there before our dance class at the studio a few doors down. Lovely cheerful service and tasty hearty food. We got some baleadas (my favorite), chicharron, savory tamales, and a healthy serving of the best guacamole I've had in a long time. Also a shoutout to some perfectly crispy fried yucca. A note that this is Honduran food, don't expect Quesedillas and Fajitas--but what you get is super satisfying. We will be back!“
“Great Honduran Food The food is made to order and the selection, while simple, is filled with delicious, authentic options. I've had their Al Pastor tacos which were incredible. What's more, their baleadas are some of the best I've ever had. The tacos dorados are also a favorite of mine. The polo con tajadas was great, though I believe it could have been better. I've had better at El Ciruelo for sure! Check out this food truck! You'll find something tasty that you'll like.“
“Atmosphere: It’s not a restaurant. It’s not really a food truck. It’s a small trailer that sits between Hibachi Grille and the C’ville Oriental Market. The trailer is about 30’ from 29 so as you wait the noise from the traffic is loud and at times obnoxious. Unless of course you chill in your vehicle. Probably best you stay in your ride. Traffic is also whipping into the Oriental Market so try not to die.Service: Two young ladies work in the trailer. Tight quarters. The one gal seemingly has a better handle on the English language so she takes your order. The only negative is the wait. If she says “10 mins” expect 15-20. That is if there are people ahead of you. They are not rude nor are they overly friendly. LOL. They are all business.Quality: The queso con pollo pupusa comes with shredded spicy cabbage and a small container of green hot sauce. Delicious and filling. 1-10 the hot sauce heat is a 3 or 4. The Pupusas are best consumed with a fork. The tacos are good for 2-3 bites. The meat is flavorful. We got Asada. Homemade tortillas. I mean given the wait everything is made from scratch. Pupusas $3 each. Tacos ? are $2 each. That’s all I tried so far.Overall: It’s about as grassroots as you can get. Show up with patience and a little bit of money will go far. Tip well.“
