Do yourself a favor and get the tofu gang jeong appetizer, one of the best things I've ever tried at a Korean restaurant. Very busy on Friday nights, but luckily we had made a reservation. This place came highly recommended to us. The service was a little slow and it seemed like the restaurant was understaffed, but we were still smiling from our sassy server. Udon Bokkeum had good noodle textures, but the flavor was a little bit dull for my taste.Overall, good experience, a little pricey, but would still recommend ?

The service was awful, which is a shame because the food was good. We were not greeted when we walked in. We had to check on our table because no one came and asked us for our party's information. People who sat down after us got their food before us. Our server was very forgetful and barely checked in with us. The manager or owner was very rude when my friend asked for a replacement for her meal. She ordered a seafood plate without realizing it had scallops, which she is allergic to. She apologized for not paying attention and asked to order something else. We didn't ask for a refund or to replace the seafood with something else. She simply wanted something else to eat. The manager said she was going to have to take the seafood plate with her and give it to someone else, and if she was paying attention, she would've seen that it had scallops. It did not specify on the menu that it contained scallops. Nevertheless, we did not argue and waited for the new food to come out. We spent $180 tonight and will not be returning.

Had a nice meal there last night. Mains and sides were all really good. However, service was a real drag. Server seemed straight up annoyed to have to take our order, never checked on us, and dropped a check early without asking if we wanted anything else. I usually won't post about bad service because everyone has an off or busy night but this was the first time that it completely killed the experience. She made us feel bad for merely being there.Get take out or perhaps bar service is the way to go?

I took 11 guests from out of town to Maru, a group that is VERY inclined to voice criticism. EVERY SINGLE PERSON loved their dinner! Service was impeccable. Flavor and presentation were stunning. I can’t wait to go back. I had the Dolsot Bibimbap with Shrimp!Salute to the team at Maru!!!!

Exceptional Koren food with efficient & friendly staff and fast service. My favorites are the Korean soy garlic fried chicken wings, pork dumplings & Udon beef/seafood. The house made hot teas & sodas are top notch & refreshing. My favorites are the citrus & ginger flavors. Cute spot, great for a casual date night or friendly dine-out.

The lemon tea was amazing and the food was quite good!! They were having a fantastic special on open bottles of wine before closing for Christmas, so some of us enjoyed wine that evening.

We needed a quick korean food fix and it was nice we found this place. The food was good but the portion is waaaay smaller than a normal korean restaurnt. Our first server was friendly and gave us a lot of recommendations; however, she disappeared for a while. Then we got another server to bring us things we need and then we got a 3rd server to bring us the check. Our 3rd server was very shy and it almost looked like he wasn't a server but a busser. Other than that, we love the open kitchen concept!

Food was really good and flavorful. Unfortunately the wait staff were rude. They questioned our choices and it seemed like we were bothering them with asking for more napkins and sauce. They even got upset with the tip we left. We honestly tipped based on the service we got.
