I've been a few times before, it's about 75mi from home, and every time it's been wonderful. My sister and I went tonight and I had tori shoyu ramen and a spicy kani roll, she had the ramen soup and tiramisu. Food was incredible, service was prompt, atmosphere very relaxed. I always recommend it to friends when they visit cville. Thank you!

Was craving ramen and my partner had never had anything off a Japanese menu besides sushi, so we tried Mashumen. We got the karaage chicken and pork and shrimp shumai to start and they were delicious. The karaage was especially good, well seasoned and with a very light & krispy coating. The shumai also had multiple little shrimp per dumpling, which was a treat considering they usually have tiny pieces or one little shrimp placed on top. He also got a spicy tuna roll and enjoyed...

I have to recommend the signature dish here - went with a group of friends and found the atmosphere to be familial and welcoming and the food to be fab. Our server was kind and answered our questions with ease. Would come again without a doubt!
