Had an amazing birthday dinner here. Ordered the fried green tomatoes, wings, pot roast, and pecan pie. Way too much food for the two of us. You get more than your money's worth. The wings had good smoke with nice spice from the jerk. I got the pot roast which was nice and tender. Replaced the green beans with collards, perfect combo. The drinks were tasty too, tequila mockingbird (awesome name) for the wife and the orange boulevardier for me. The service was A+ from our server Kaitlyn. Highly recommend. We were able to park in the back but it's a little limited.

It's a nice and quiet place but lively at the same time. Really hard to pull that off. Shrimp and grits were great and so was the pork belly. Biscuits were good too. The fish we had was okay. Good service. Will return to try more.

We had an absolutely fantastic meal here on Valentine's Day. Even on a busy night, we were seated promptly for our reservation, but not rushed through our meal.
The drinks menu is delightful, and the zero-proof options are thoughtful and complex. We had delicious appetizers (GF Corn Muffins, yum!) but could have skipped the chicken wings.
Entrees were delicious and both of us commented on how nice it was that the dishes came with several accompany vegetables - it made it feel like a complete meal without having to order a ton of sides.
Finally, the desserts were delicious - the chocolate mud pie is definitely shareable, and we also enjoyed the banana pudding.
One of us ordered gluten free items and they were all delicious, definitely recommend for dietary restrictions!

The ambience and service were great. The cocktails were too tart and the food was wonderfully conceived and terribly executed. My bison (“medium rare”) was well, the salmon was barely edible it was so overdone, and all of the beef steaks were ordered medium rare and were well. The sauces were overpowering and not in a good way.

Mockingbird is just so incredibly consistent in their execution of affordable but amazing dining. The owner is very personable and regularly comes out to greet guests. However, I'm leaving the review as a result of dining for the restaurant's New Year's Eve four course meal. For the price and experience, I'm not sure I've ever had anything better! As close to perfection as a dining experience can get and I'm very pleased this spot is so close by as I will continue my regular visits.
Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and dairy free options as well we vegan and vegetarian. They always take great caution as well.

Good food that’s why your getting a five star the service was less than satisfactory guess I wasn’t dressed nice enough to be treated like a person. Funny enough I’m sure the tip you received from me was more than what your use to getting hope that’s a lesson to y’all I was in town painting a mural and wanted food so decided to try this place
