Among Charlottesville‘s many treasures and gems, the Oakhurst Café is a wonder. The shady outdoor patio is dog-friendly, the interior rooms are cozy and welcoming, the staff are gracious and considerate, and the food always has a little something extra special to it. It’s a happy place.

Caution ! Some seating is next to floor vents, and if the AC is on (summer), you may get cold. My wife and I switched places because she would not be able to deal with it. I had no issues.
Food was delicious. My palette didn't know at first was to make of my sandwich... the flavors were dynamic and explosive. The homemade chips were delicious 😋!!
