Don't know where to start. I am from Lynchburg, and come to UVA for Dr. appointments. I also love to shop at Hello Goodbye record shop. I asked the owner, Daniel, where was the best burger in C'ville. Without any hesitation, He said Riverside Lunch. First time there was amazing.....second time even better. Best cheeseburger EVER! Everything about the experience was bussing. Burgers were great, sides were great. Wish I’d gone for the basket of onion rings only rather than the half/half (fries were fine but the was more like 2/3 fries).
Funny they smush em before giving it to you but still pretty darn tasty. Get ready to wash your hands though. Not healthy at all but that’s what makes em delicious.

This local greasy spoon is a Cville staple for a fast lunch or dinner. Burgers and dogs any way you want it. It gets busy for lunch but it moves fast. You won’t leave hungry that’s for sure.
