Loved visiting this cool, local spot in Charlottesville. Despite being there on wine night and ordering three different bottles of white wine they didn't have the first two we ordered! The three of us enjoyed the shrimp appetizer, delicious salads, and the rockfish special. The food was good. Service was just okay but our server was extremely pleasant. Loved that it was open mic night —-that was a really nice surprise. Wish I could've stayed longer to enjoy the music....
The food was fantastic. Our server was friendly, patient, and helpful. The menu had a good variety without being complicated or overwhelming. If I'm ever in the Charlottesville area again I will definitely be revisiting this restaurant.
Enjoyed dining outside balcony. The burrata caprese was amazing. The gnocchi bolognese was less appealing- pasty, heavy and very little meat in the sauce. The Local has always been a favorite and the gnocchi just missed the mark this time. Will definitely be back though.
