The restaurant was recommended to us by a staff member at Monticello and it was perfect. The variety of food was perfect for everyone in my family. We had nachos and the Baja rolls. Everyone loved them. There was plenty of food and flavor. Not one person left any food on their plate and the service was great too.
My daughter and I stopped here for dinner during an overnight road trip. We were seated quickly. The floor around us was dirty from previous guests but the table was clean. Our server was kind and plesant but also busy. He stopped once to ask us how the food was. We ordered a cheeseburger and chicken cesar salad. The food arrived hot and tasted fine. While everything was ok, if I were to visit the area again, I would likely try another local restaurant.
The food here is good, but the service left a lot to be desired. My mom and I sat unacknowledged for a while while multiple staff members walked right past us, despite the restaurant being mostly empty during the World Cup. After I finally asked the host for help, Alex came over to take our order and was very pleasant. It’s a shame the initial experience felt so dismissive, because the kitchen did a great job.
