Vivi’s Cakes and Candy

Billy and Vivi brought our wedding cake dreams to life! From the very beginning, our cake tasting was such a wonderful experience. We were presented with a variety of miniature cakes and frosting combinations, and every single one was incredible. We ultimately chose lemon to perfectly complement our Italian summer-inspired wedding, and it was the best decision.

The value for what you receive is truly unmatched. We shared a few inspiration photos with Billy and Vivi, and they exceeded every expectation. Our cake was absolutely stunning and even more beautiful than we imagined.

Not only was it gorgeous, but it was also incredibly delicious, delivered safely and on time, and arrived in perfect condition for our big day. We are so grateful to Vivi’s Cakes & Candy for creating such a memorable centerpiece and helping make our wedding day even more special. We couldn't recommend them more!

Billy at Vivi's Cakes and Candy was the only baker in all of Charlottesville to actually sit down with my wife and I and give us a consultation for our wedding cake. Everyone else told us to look online and no one would take the time to simply talk or go over what they offered. Billy stepped in, offered us a tasting of the vast selection, gave great suggestions, and even delivered our cake to the venue for a reasonable fee. If you want the best service in all of Cville and great cake to go with it, look no further than Vivi's!

We visited Vivi’s Cakes and Candy this past Saturday evening (about 20 minutes before close). The cupcakes were beyond excellent and the owner Billy was so generous and kind! These were hands down the best cupcakes we’ve ever had, and I see plenty of other reviews echoing our sentiment here. (Believe them, people).

Because it was the end of the day, nearly all of the cupcakes were gone. We asked if they had gluten free cupcakes and were told they were out, but Billy went through the trouble of double checking for us and found the last two left. He asked what frosting flavors we wanted and iced them right in front of us. He also gave us a two for the price of one deal!

We both got chocolate and the cupcakes tasted satisfyingly sweet (but not too sweet) with both frosting flavors (chocolate and vanilla) being out of this world good. The shop itself is adorable as well. It seems like a nice place to sit in, which we plan on doing next time we return.

Can not recommend Vivi's enough. They provided cupcakes for our UVA BIMS Recruitment visits and the students, faculty, and candidates were thrilled to see the display and enjoy the sweet treats. Billy was a delight to work with and bent over backwards to make our multiple orders happen, even on a day that they were closed and with delivery. We will be continuing this relationship for years to come!

My wife and I went here recently on a whim while wandering through the mall. My wife decided to wander in due to the atmosphere and it was quite cute. We originally just wanted to look around but Billy offered us a huge slice of cake for free. Fantastic draw. It was by far the greatest piece of cake to have ever entered my mouth. It was sweet but not too sweet. My wife and I quite literally talked about that cake for the rest of the day. We ended up buying two cupcakes - which were also amazing - a salted caramel cupcake and a cookies and cream. Fantastic. One could even say divine. I promise you, on everything I believe, this place is worth the calories. Great prices too. I WILL be buying my wife’s birthday cake from here in a couple months. 100%

I had an awesome birthday cupcake here.... Billy even offered a birthday candle and a lighter to make it extra special. A real hidden gem on the downtown mall.
