“I contacted The Bronx Gourmet - Chef Neomi at what I thought was surely the last minute. We had a scheduling conflict with our initial caterer, and were desperate to find a replacement. Chef Neomi answered my email immediately and confirmed her availability. Our budget was relatively small and the turnaround was short. She came though with a budget-friendly menu and we were set! The food was savory, hot, and delicious. She was prompt, courteous, professional and even made sure we set the buffet warmers as to not burn any food. I hope we find ourselves celebrating in the Chesapeake area again soon. I will not hesitate to reach out to Chef Neomi and her staff for the next event!“

I got to chat up the attendant at the desk and she was extremely helpful letting me know about the options and when the next fresh batch would be out!I ordered a bag of 5 along with a spicy mustard, buttercream, and hot nacho cheese dip cups. Each of the dips paired nicely, but I would reserve buttercream for an unsalted pretzel. The salt + sweet were a hard pass on the tastebuds, but definitely worth a try!The hot cheese has a nice kick to it and the mustard was just right on the spice. The pretzels were hot, fluffy, and flavorful. The wait is quick and the service came with a smile. Would to back for more!“

The building could be more noticeable and reminded me of the restaurant I visited in Carolina. I'm old school, and sweet collards are not my thing. “This place is usually located in Chesapeake, but they made a trip over to the Hampton area. I have been trying to catch this place for a while. I have recently returned from deployment and I couldn’t help and hope that the place came near my area. To my delight they finally made their way here.The fish was delicate and flavorful, there was no resistance when I took a bite, definitely a 10/10. The crab cake was pack full of crab with a small and mount of filler. It tasted really fresh and my wife loved it. The shrimp were colossal and cooked very well. The waffle fries were better than chik fil la, and were nicely seasoned.If you ever get a chance to catch them in Chesapeake or they so happen to appear in your area, run don’t walk to try them ASAP.“
