“Really like this place. I've had various lattes, their sausage biscuit, and the bacon burrito. Coffee is good, and the food is good and tastes light and fresh. Taxus is located inside a brewery so you get the brewery vibe with an outdoor area, tons of windows, and high ceilings. Most of the seating is high-top tables. The barista is very pleasant. Would recommend!“

“Simply one of the best coffee houses in Virginia. Roasting onsite, this place is a must try. Tucked in right off the Elizabeth River Trail, overlooking the river. Parking is in Dominion Tower, or walk/bike the ERT. Check open hours, not a typical shop. Well worth the visit.“
“This place was great! The coffee was good, and we were allowed to bring our dogs inside the building, even though they were not serviced Dogs, which was refreshing. We were able to sit at a table and they were able to relax right next to us. The people there are very animal friendly. The service was good and we will definitely plan to go back.“
“This place is amazing. The only con is walking in and having to leave because there's nowhere to sit. But if you do get lucky enough to grab a seat, this is the perfect little cozy place, warm in that rustic charming character type of way. The way where a space is transformed because of the people in it. Filled with chatter, curiosity, and laughter.The food is really good, the staff is awesome. My 10 year old is homeschooled, and I'm a work from home multi-facteted UX designer. When we need a change of scenery, we come here!“
“Walked down to Three Ships from my hotel for good coffee, service was awesome chose a hot Latte and and egg biscuit " The World Famous Becky" my daughter is Rebecca so I chose that one.. Beautiful design in the latte! Almond milk frothed very well. Sandwich was just the right size, tasty, yummy Vermont cheddar with the biscuit tasted homemade not sure if it is! Hung out at the counter personable staff! Highly recommend you stop by!“
“So freaking good! Nice bathrooms, very clean. It’s such a lovely place to hangout, came there the first time and it was delicious! Highly recommend the Toffee & Cinnamon, it’s not overbearing! Kind baristas too! Perfect place for the heat (and i’m even sure cold too) I got decaf but it was delicious. God bless a solid coffee place ?Kid-friendliness: lots of space!“
