We tried going to first watch in Chesapeake for the first time today for Mother’s Day. I won’t say that I do or don’t recommend it because I didn’t get the chance to eat there. The service was very good. My eggs Benedict was disappointing. Instead of an English muffin, they used a thick rectangle of white bread. It was so hard I gave up trying to eat it. Food was cold.

The staff is hardworking, polite, knowledgeable. Food is fresh and serving is a good portion. The place itself is clean, bright, and inviting. The menu is varied and every dish tried is delicious. This has become one of their favorite breakfast chains. Very consistent with food and service. The breakfast has great options and all tried are excellent. Breakfast tacos are a favorite. Overall, First Watch offers a unique menu and good service, but potential issues with wait times and inconsistencies in food preparation may affect the dining experience.
