I am very particular about coffee and I really like a dark roast, and I'm talking about full City type roast. I do not like 3rd and 4th wave coffee. Because it tends to be very light. This might sound exaggerated but I believe I got the best tasting cup of dark roast coffee I have ever had. I would totally come back here but I was visiting from out of town (Don't care for the humidity in the area because I live in Southern California).
Very cool place. Love that they have their roasting equipment right out there for you to see. Excellent chocolate caramel shortbread latte and a tasty muffin. Superb service and friendly staff.
I was seeking out a local coffee roaster and found Pale Horse. Atmosphere is ok Service ok but the coffee beans I took home is fantastic. I purchased Death by Chocolate and have really enjoyed it. Ordered more off their website. Update: visited the Battlefield Blvd location to pick up more Death by Chocolate whole beans one Saturday morning.
