“Talked with Robert who was cooking our food today and David and Kayla . Robert was excellent entertained my kids while cooking a packed Sunday morning rush food guy was awesome . I’ve managed a multi million dollar construction business and Robert has management potential if he isn’t already ! He commanded the room in a respectful constructive way and kept everything moving ! I would hire him in a New York minute !“
“Stopped by this Waffle House in Portsmouth, VA and had a pretty solid experience overall. The food was exactly what you expect—classic diner-style breakfast done right. My waffles were warm and fresh, and the eggs and hash browns hit the spot. It’s simple food, but it’s filling.
The staff were friendly and welcoming during my visit, and service was fairly quick.
The atmosphere is your typical Waffle House—casual, a little worn-in, and open 24/7, which is honestly one of the best.
Overall, it’s a dependable spot for a quick, no-frills meal—especially late at night or early morning. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving a classic Waffle House breakfast.“
“If you haven’t gotten your fair share of Waffle House trust me when I say you are missing out. Food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Angie as well as all other restaurant staff were wonderful and did a terrific job cooking our food and lifting our spirits. I know that every time I come to this Waffle House I’m in for a good time. “Ordered all star breakfast,never got my waffle.ordered a side of sausage gravy,never got. Toast was so cold when it was buttered,it did not melt, hash browns were cold when finally got order. Eggs were good and bacon cooked correctly was the only thing good about it. Should have gone to huddle house in Suffolk.“
“I been going for a couple weeks now , I fell in love with the Texas Bacon cheesesteak melt. Its amazing and would recommend. Its cool experience to see the cooks right in front of you and it gives me that diner experience thats not so common these days , would recommend for families all over virginia“
