“For the Manager: The staff that worked the evening of 1/8/26 around 9 pm were fantastic. We were greeted by every single staff member, even ones that had clocked in after we arrived. Our server was attentive the whole time and even offered us to go drinks. I hope to have the same staff next time we come“
“Stopped by this Waffle House in Portsmouth, VA and had a pretty solid experience overall. The food was exactly what you expect—classic diner-style breakfast done right. My waffles were warm and fresh, and the eggs and hash browns hit the spot. It’s simple food, but it’s filling.
The staff were friendly and welcoming during my visit, and service was fairly quick.
The atmosphere is your typical Waffle House—casual, a little worn-in, and open 24/7, which is honestly one of the best.
Overall, it’s a dependable spot for a quick, no-frills meal—especially late at night or early morning. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re craving a classic Waffle House breakfast.“
“The team at this Waffle House is doing an amazing job. Every time someone walks in the door, the whole team greets them. Even the line cooks shout “welcome to Waffle House”. The point is they have a great attitude and it shows through the entire experience. Who doesn’t love a good Waffle House experience?“
“Ordered all star breakfast,never got my waffle.ordered a side of sausage gravy,never got. Toast was so cold when it was buttered,it did not melt, hash browns were cold when finally got order. Eggs were good and bacon cooked correctly was the only thing good about it. Should have gone to huddle house in Suffolk.“
“I been going for a couple weeks now , I fell in love with the Texas Bacon cheesesteak melt. Its amazing and would recommend. Its cool experience to see the cooks right in front of you and it gives me that diner experience thats not so common these days , would recommend for families all over virginia“
