This is my go-to sushi place whenever I'm working in Chesapeake. Always friendly staff, very good roll selection, service is fast, drinks are in big cups. It's worth stopping by. I always get the pink dragon roll.
In town on vacation visiting, and stumbled to Yama, and it was amazing. The atmosphere is inviting, warm and cozy. Staff professional and kind. My husband and I were blown away be the freshness and flavor of the sushi! The miso soup was on point! The rice cooked well. Had spicy tuna and shrimp tempura.. so good!! This gem is an absolute must try! As soon as you walk in you feel relaxed - the atmosphere and decor are wonderful! And there's no dust anywhere to be seen... Often in a place with lots of nice decorations I tend to focus on the dust...I didn't see any here! The staff was so friendly and nice - she even gave us a complimentary iron man roll! Which was phenomenal!! It was so delicious! Highly recommend the Volvo Roll, also! The sushi tasted fresh, too! Iykyk!! 10/10 recommend...
