Cracker Barrel Reviews
our food was inedible and the service was terrible. I had to talk to the manager 3 times about different issues but he was very accommodating. We were there for 1 and a half hours with lousy service and food.
The last 2 times I was there for breakfast food was mediocre, coffee was not hot, biscuits hard as a rock. Service was great with no wait. Need to improve.
Always a great experience at Cracker Barrel.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store offers a traditional American dining experience, known for its classic country-style meals. Recent reviews indicate some inconsistencies in food quality and service. While the food is generally described as good, with highlights like the country fried pork chop, some customers have noticed issues such as burnt and dry pancakes, as well as concerns about portion sizes—particularly with sides like fried apples and fried okra, which appeared skimpy. The service has also received mixed feedback, with reports of slow refills and a disorganized atmosphere, though some servers have been praised for being attentive. Customers appreciate attentive service from staff like Nariana, who made sure they had everything they needed and recommended the herb chicken, which was enjoyed by many. The restaurant remains a popular spot, especially during busy times like Thanksgiving, when customers appreciated the convenience of ordering from Cracker Barrel. Some diners wish they could see the return of simple sides like cabbage, lima beans, and the new England soup on Fridays, but overall, service is reliable. Visitors also note that the food is fast and delicious, and the restaurant has a fun collection of nick nacks. However, some mention that the overall experience may not always justify the cost, especially when the restaurant is crowded and food takes longer to arrive. Parking can be challenging on busy days, with some guests needing to park in the hotel parking area.
